What a Farmers Market kick off! We had 15 vendors yesterday, and the product range was amazing! Not only did we have the Rome Knights serving a free will breakfast with was delicious , but then we also had FRESH produce, to hand crafted gnomes, baked goods, wooden planters, Relay for Life fundraising, sourdough delights, fresh LOCAL honey, European delectables, ready to enjoy plants, handmade soaps with amazing scents, to a drink station and more! So happy and proud of the turn out of vendors, not to forget you amazing customers who came out to support our local producers, we couldn't do all of this with out the publics support of Farmers Market! You are all awesome, from customers to vendors! Thank you all again for a fabulous kick off!

Why are farmers markets important: because they are for the local producer and not big chain stores. You get to know your local patrons.
Do I attend other markets as a vendor: I plan on attending the Burlington Jefferson Street Market on Thursdays

Important Dates:
- May 18th - Opening Market 830am-11am under the pavilion at McMillan Park
- May 25th - SWAP meet, we will be inside the Locust Street entrance in the dance barn/sale barn
- July 27th - NO MARKET DUE TO RAGBRAII
- August 14th - last market at McMillan for Old Threshers
- August 17th through September 7th (market will be moved, keep checking back for location)
- September 11th - back to McMillan Park
- October 19th - Last market of regular season

May 18th, 2024 - Plant your own pot!
Decorate and plant a small plastic pot with your choice of vegetable seeds or flower seeds
June 15th - Make your own salad, trying new vegetables!
July 20th Corn project
August 10th - Make your own salsa and learn about tomatoes
September 14th learn about potatoes and apples, and painting with them
October 13th Pumpkin painting
